Since 2002, Rich Aviation Services has been guiding pilots to new heights. Whether you’re taking your first flight or refining your skills as a corporate pilot, our mission is to provide exceptional, personalized training on a schedule that works for you.

Experienced Leadership

Led by owner and corporate pilot Shawn Rich, our team of FAA-certified instructors brings decades of real-world aviation expertise and a passion for teaching to every lesson.

Insurance-Approved Training

We provide Part 61 flight training for initial pilot certification as well as training for initial type ratings and pilot-in-command recurrent programs. We offer flexible, personalized instruction that meets both FAA and insurance standards

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

  • Private Pilot: typically 45 to 75 flight hours total, finish in 3 to 6 months depending on schedule and weather.
  • Instrument Rating: plan for 40 instrument hours plus cross-country time; many pilots complete in 2 to 4 months.
  • Commercial (Single/Multi): aim for 250 total time; timeline varies based on current hours and availability.
  • Instructor Path (CFI/CFII/MEI): focused, syllabus-driven prep to get you teaching quickly and safely.
  • Corporate Training: initial and recurrent options for King Air, Citation, and more, with insurance-approved courses.
